
Former Destiny's Child singer, Kelly Rowland, has revealed that she works out to "free her mind". But Ms Rowland is also noted for her slender physique which she says is the result of a lot of effort. She enjoys regular work outs and finds they are the ideal way to get rid of the day's stresses.
"Yoga and the gym. I go every other day but if I'm tired and don't feel like going I don't," she said in Look magazine. "Working out makes me really happy and also frees my mind. That's why I love it." She added.
Eating the right kind of food is also important to Kelly. Although she does occaisionally indulge in the odd sweet treat, she makes sure she strickly limits her intake of unhealthy foods.
She told Look magazine: "I believe in a healthy lifestyle of eating. My trainer taught me the 80% - 20% rule, where 80 per cent of the time you are eating healthily, that's green vegetables, fish, sweet potatoes," she explained. "Then for 20 per cent of the time you can have what you like."
