The Ayurvedic workshop which we held in November last year exceeded all our expectations. Not only was it well attended by guests of our Marbella yoga retreat, the event also generated a lot of local interest from people keen to learn more about this highly-effective traditional form of Indian medicine.
In fact, so successful was the last workshop that we are planning to hold another later this year. Because of the busy schedule of leading Ayurvedic specialist, Dr V.G.Sunil who oversaw last year’s event and who we have invited back this year, we are presently unable set a firm date. However, we anticipate the event will be staged sometime in the autumn.
Dr Sunil is a prominent figure in the field of Ayurveda medicine. He is currently working in Germany where he is engaged in various research projects. In addition to his research, Dr Sunil is also teaching doctors of modern medicine about the beneficial effects and curative properties of Ayurveda on various diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and Cancer.
In the meantime, our own highly-qualified resident Ayurvedic specialist is available for private consultations and can offer a range of traditional and totally authentic treatments in our purpose-built Ayurvedic treatment centre located within our Marbella yoga retreat.
